We’re talking about chilled, creamy, refreshing blends that bring the café vibe straight to your kitchen. Iced espresso with ice cream
We’ve gotten used to sipping icy cold coffee outdoors—but isn’t it our right to enjoy those same chilly sips at home too? That’s exactly why I’ve put together some easy and delicious homemade cold coffee recipes for you.
What you’ll need:
1 shot of espresso
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
Chocolate sauce or crushed chocolate (for garnish)
How to make it:
Brew a fresh, aromatic shot of espresso. Scoop a generous serving of vanilla ice cream into your cup first, then pour the hot espresso right over it. Garnish with a drizzle of chocolate sauce or sprinkle with crushed chocolate—your choice.Serve immediately and stir gently as you enjoy.
Oreo iced coffee
What you’ll need:
Oreo cookies
Cold milk
Iced coffee
How to make it
Break the Oreos into 2–3 pieces and place them into ice cube trays.Pour cold milk over them and pop them into the freezer.After 2–3 hours, when your Oreo milk cubes are frozen solid, drop them into a glass and top with cold coffee. Sip and enjoy the chill of summer with every creamy, cookie-filled sip.
Coffee smoothie
What you’ll need
1 shot of brewed espresso
1 medium banana
1 cup of milk
Optional: chia seeds
Plenty of ice
How to make it
Once your espresso is brewed, toss all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth.Want it to keep you full longer? Add a spoonful of chia seeds.Prefer a stronger coffee flavor? Use only half a cup of milk instead of a full one.Blend, pour, and enjoy your smoothie with a caffeine kick.
